Best Way to Easily Find and Remove Broken Links from your Website or Blog

What are Broken Links?

Broken links are the links which leads to a page that actually does not exist. When you publish any article on your blog than search engines like Google indexe it and add your article information to its database. After some days or months if you delete your previously published article than it is removed from your blog database but not from Google database. If anyone search for a keyword related to your article on Google than your article link come up in the search results. And if he/she clicks on the link then it leads to a 404 error page.

404 error pages and broken links have a negative effect on SEO and which decreases your search engine ranking. Let’s take an example to explain it more clearly. Suppose if you search for a keyword on Google, than so many search results come up. When you click one of them you may come across a 404 error page. Now tell me that, what you will do in this situation? You will immediately leave that site and go for another one. Google consider this as bad practice and which gradually leads to decrease in your search engine ranking.

In this post I am going to tell you the best way to easily find and remove broken links from your blog. This can be done by using an online tool Google Webmaster Tool. This is one of the tool that I occasionally use to detect and remove broken links from my blog. If you have a blogger blog then there is no need to register but if you have a wordpress blog then you have to first register your blog. Let’s see how to remove these useless links from Google database.

How to Find and Remove Broken Links?

1. First of all login to Google Webmaster Tool by going to the link given below:

http://www.google.com/webmasters/

2. Now go to Dashboard and select the blog that you want (if you have more than one) from the drop down menu situated at right top.

3. Go to Health>Crawl Errors and than click on Not found option as shown below.

4. After that you will see a list of all the broke links in your blog. Than click on any link from the list, now a new pop-up window will open, copy the link from there.

5. Now go to Optimization>Remove URLs and than click on Create a new removal request, paste the link that you have copied earlier in the box as shown below and than click on Continue button.

6. A new window will open,there click on Submit Request as shown below.

7. After completing this process just mark all the links as fixed so that these links will be not listed in the Not found list, otherwise they may confuse you in future.

Note: Google webmaster Tool will take some time to remove these URLs from Google database.

Tip Remove Disable Edit Option Mode For wcdf CDE Files in Pentaho 5 x Production Community Server

Hi Guys,

Below tip is used for disable Edit Mode of CDE dashboards ..

When this is useful ?
CASE 1 :
If you are not going for Embedding BI to integrate the CDE dashboards.

CASE 2:
If you dont want your end user to open the CDE file to view the CODE.. If you are using the Server itself in your end client location he/she also may not need all these except logging into the server and see the dashboards...

For doing this.. i.e., to disable the Edit mode of CDE dashboards, you just need to comment below code in plugin.xml file of pentaho-cdf-dd folder.

File location : /home/sadakar/softwares installed/Pentaho/biserver-ce/pentaho-solutions/system/pentaho-cdf-dd

NOTE: As it is a configuration file, you need to restart the server once the changes done to it.

Another Imp NOTE:
As C-Tools(CDE,CDF,CDA) are uneatable from Marketplace, and if you go for any upgrade of them then you might lost this configuration.. what itll do internally when you upgrade to new versions of C-Tools, internally itll uninstall the plug-ins and then download the new.. hence as you will get a fresh copy you there might be a chance of losing your settings.. This is not tested..

Hi Users today im telling you how to remove watermark from Visual Lightbox and you can also remove watermark from your publish project. It is very easy to remove but just follow these steps:

1. Download and install your Visual Lightbox from here: Download

2. After installing Visual Lightbox create your project and publish to your destination folder

3. After publishing the project go to your publish project and find "visuallightbox.js" which is locate at "your publish proct folder/index_files folder/vlb_engine folder" and open "visuallightbox.js" with Word pad and press Ctrl+f and search "visuallightbox.com" and change it to your own website url or remove it like:

Or you can add your own url

4. after doing that press Ctrl+S and save it.
5. After doing that copy your original image and paste it into "your publish project folder/vlb_images1 folder/" and replace the images.
For example:

your original image convert the old image and it will remove the watermark from image automatically

Karbon A21 Hard Reset Google Lock Remove Pattern Lock Force Close

Before you proceed flashing / hard resetting your phone / tablet make sure to back up your important files if possible. Because we care about your data.

We also suggest that your battery should be atleast 50% or better to have it fully charge, lower than the said value may cause unwanted result, such as bricking your phone / tablet rendering it unuseable. This is very important in flashing your phone / tablet. Use original USB cable as possible.

If you are using laptop to flash your phone, make your that it has enough charge. If your laptop shutdown when your flashing your phone/tablet, youll end up bricking your phone. Sometimes you can still recover your phone just flash it again and your phone will boot up again. But that is just a case to case basis, if your phone / tablet is deadboot (totally dead, erased all program in the chip) you cant recover it, you will need to seek professional help (technician).

In this tutorial I will gonna teach you how to hard reset your Karbonn A21. This can fix the following issues that you are experiencing in your phone:

1. Force Close Apps

2. If you forgot your Google Account

3. Hang in Logo

Ok lets do it. Just follow the procedure

1. Put your phone info fastboot mode by pressing Volume Up + Power Key for 5 seconds

3. Extract the file (adb-fastboot-win), and then open command prompt.bat

4. Connect your phone to your computer via USB

Did you forgot your google account or you cannot enable the data connection so that you can enter your google account to your phone to recover your phone.

In this tutorial we will remove the pattern lock of your phone (SKK A11). Just follow the instructions carefully so that you can fully restore your phone into its normal state.

*** Note: I am not responsible for bricking your phone, files uploaded are proven tested to support SKK A11 regardless of the phone color.

Lets proceed. Download First the 3 files.

After downloading the 3 files. Extract it in one folder.
1. Open Research Download
2. Load Packet, it is the first button in Research Download, look for SKKA11 file that you extracted. It is usually .pac format.
3. Check the following below: ONLY THE THREE
✓FDL1✓FDL2✓UserData

4. Click in Calibration Page, in Research Download. And UnCHECK ALL

5. Press OK, and Press Play Button.

To Connect your phone.

1. Press Volume Down or Volume UP and Hold it.

2. Insert USB Cable while holding Volume UP or Down

3. This time your computer might need the driver, you can find the driver in Spreadtrum.rar file and install the necessary file that is needed.

4. This time the Research Download should detect your phone and continue flashing/resetting your phone.

Hard Reset your Aftron AFMID7150 and remove password pattern lock gmail account

The Aftron AFMID7150 a rare tablet again came to my workplace. I was surprised that this tablet has a hard reset combination. Scroll below for the tutorial ;)

Hard resetting / factory resetting your phone will solve the following issues:

1. If you forgot your pattern lock
2. If you forgot your gmail account
3. If you forgot your password
4. Apps that automatically force closing
5. Stuck in Aftron Logo (sometimes does not work if the firmware is totally damage)

NOTE: Performing hard reset will erase your data.

To hard reset:

1. Turn off your tablet.
2. Press and Hold VOLUME UP + VOLUME DOWN + Power button. Release the power Button only when the tablet power up. Just wait until the Android System Recovery appear

3. Select wipe / factory reset, press Volume rocker to navigate and press the Power Button to confirm your selection.
4. Reboot your tablet.

Note:
If performing hard reset did not succeed, you need to wipe the cache first in the android system recovery before performing wipe / factory reset.
